Ever wanted to ask a qualified professional questions about allergy parenting and balanced allergy living in a one-on-one meeting?
Then consider booking an educational session with Tamara in order to receive useful, evidence-based information that helps you gain clarity on parenting a child with food allergy or developing a balanced approach to life with allergies!
Unlike allergy counseling, which focuses on therapeutic goals and tends to be ongoing in nature, an education session is:
100% informational in nature, offering evidence-based education, recommendations, and resources
Brief and very targeted; typically limited to 1-3 meetings depending on discussion topics
Focused on exploring a specific allergy-related topic or problem you're looking to better understand or navigate
NOT therapeutic guidance; focused on discussions centered on psychoeducation and reputable resources
NOT medical information/guidance, as this is outside of my scope of practice [see more on this below]

Why Work with Tamara:
When pursuing educational consultation services, it's important to work with someone who is an expert in their respective field, as you want to ensure you're receiving information and education from a qualified and reputable source.
Regarded as an allergy mental health and wellness expert, I regularly educate others on these topics via national and international presentations. As an allied health member of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, where I present annually, I stay on top of best practices in allergy and immunology. Additionally, I have relationships with many allergists and allied healthcare providers in this field, allowing me to stay on top of evidence-based information and resources, and reassuring you that I am well-respected within allergy and immunology.
As a result of my clinical experience and deep knowledge of IgE-mediated food allergy and related allergic conditions, I'm well-equipped to help you process allergy information, develop clarifying questions for your healthcare team, and offer life-impacting education to help you move forward using a balanced approach to allergy management!
While I will not provide medical information or guidance, as this is outside of my scope of practice, my consistent exposure to this up-to-date information ensures that I am able to help you understand the relationship between mental health and allergies, and develop questions to follow up on with your allergist/healthcare team.
