Through various therapeutic approaches, I aim to help clients build skills that develop self-awareness/insight, coping and decision-making strategies, resilience, and an empowered mindset:
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Systems/Family Systems Theory

Individual Counseling:

  • Looking for support on topics relating to women's wellness or navigating motherhood?
  • Are you a young adult needing guidance as you prepare for college, jobs, or adulthood?
  • Trying your best to manage and co-exist with feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, or stress?
  • Maybe you're stuck trying to navigate a tough relationship?
  • It could be that you're tired of spreading yourself too thin and need to make tough life decisions?
  • Or maybe you're a mom trying to juggle motherhood and a career, but don't feel you're balancing both well?
No matter the reason you're seeking support, my goal is to help you gain clarity, tap into your own strengths, and build the skills you need to move forward toward the vision you have for your life. Even with individual therapy, I welcome including others into counseling sessions, such as significant others or family members, when deemed appropriate.

Food Allergy-Specific Counseling:

  • Maybe you find it challenging to cope with the diagnosis, or the emotional and social impacts?
  • Perhaps you need guidance on navigating family/social scenarios, developing self-advocacy within your child, or communicating your food allergy rules to others?
  • Or you may find yourself  struggling with excessive anxiety or worry after a recent anaphylactic reaction or oral food challenge appointment?
For those managing food allergies, counseling with a food allergy-knowledgeable behavioral healthcare provider can be beneficial. Due to my experience with/knowledge of IgE-mediated food allergies and food allergy trials/treatments, I can help you through your own food allergy journey and building coping strategies, resilience and an empowered mindset.

Group Sessions & Educational Workshops:

Whether it's support groups or therapy groups, being in an atmosphere with others who are going through similar experiences can be truly beneficial. In addition to talking about experiences, useful tools will be shared. Another way of gaining insight and life tools is through attending educational workshops on topics you'd benefit from. Workshops aren't just for counseling clients; they're open to all who might benefit from them.

[
As groups or workshops are offered, details will be posted. Learn more about educational workshops here, and reach out if you'd like me to host one at your location.]

My office is an inviting, non-judgmental space with calming hues to help you feel comfortable during sessions.
